Using an advanced 3d modelling camera, it is possible to create a digital twin of a property (as pictured above). This 'dollhouse' as it is referred can be viewed from any angle and a simple click or tap in any room or space brings the user straight into the walkthrough.
An overhead floorplan is also automatically generated and accessible within the walkthrough menu.
Schematic architectural plans can be added as an optional extra.
The technology has many applications but is fast becoming a gold standard in real estate, industrial and commercial sectors.
The camera uses LIDAR technology to scan a room and give highly accurate measurements. A client can use tools embedded in the walkthrough virtual tours to measure distances.
