360/vr video
Arkpics offers full 360° video in either 2D or 3D. Using highly sophisticated and specialist equipment it is possible to film a full a scene or in the case of a virtual tour, interlinked scenes in 360 degrees. The camera used (as pictured above), records video simultaneously using 6 separate lenses and ambisonics - audio recorded from all directions, i.e 360°.
The images and/or videos are then stitched together using software. This results in an incredibly real and immersive experience for the viewer. If you can imagine a place you would like to virtually transport yourself, your customers or clients to, this technology can bring you there!
As is the case with virtual tours or Matterport using sill images for the 360° coverage, icons can be clicked on to navigate from one video panorama to the next. These icons or 'hotspots' can also open maps, text, images, videos, ecommerce websites etc. within the tour itself.
This provides a highly in depth experience for the visitor of your website. It enables them to virtually visit your business before doing so physically and in this case adds the extra level of realism and immersion that motion picture provides.

The video tours are not limited to 360° images. They can include additional media items as optional extras, ranging from aerial flyovers to high quality images and embedded ecommerce links or content.
Most tours can be shot within 1 day but the time it takes can increase significantly depending on the scale and the addition of setting up the filming shoot.
